International House Buenos Aires is one of the most popular and well-established CELTA providers in South America. What sets us apart is our vastly experienced team of in-house tutors, who tailor every course to the needs of each candidate — Face2Face or Online, full-time or part-time.

All candidates get a unique self-study / reference learning platform focusing on lesson planning and language awareness, before, during and after the course, at no additional cost.

Please be aware that the full-time CELTA course is highly intensive. Candidates should not have any outside work or study commitments during the course.

• 6 hours of teaching practice across 8 lessons
• 6 hours of observation of experienced teachers
• 4 practically-focused written assignments
• Input sessions on current methodology and language analysis

The syllabus has five units: learners and teachers and the teaching context; language analysis and awareness; language skills; planning and resources; developing teaching skills and professionalism.

You are assessed throughout the course with no final exam, through teaching practice and written assignments, moderated by an external Cambridge assessor. Grades: Pass, Pass B and Pass A.

All 2026 courses, full-time and part-time, online or Face2Face: US$1620, payable in US Dollars or Argentine Pesos at the official exchange rate (bna.com.ar). Includes the Cambridge Registration Fee. Any increase by Cambridge English during the year will be added.

We provide detailed information on B&Bs, hostels, home stays, shared apartments and flats through our accommodation blog, and can arrange home stays on request. We recommend staying as close to the institute as possible.

Lost certificates are not replaced by Cambridge. Candidates can apply for a Certifying Statement, accepted by universities and institutions as proof of the result, through certstat.cambridgeenglish.org.
